More About Debs At War: How Wartime Changed their Lives, 1939-1945
Another interesting look at what women did during WW2 in Great Britain. This time debs - so a bit stuffy but well worth reading. Anne de Courcy takes the stories of several privileged women and shows us how the War affected their lives - in most cases, it improved them immensely. An interesting insight into the world of upper class Britain between the wars. Very Nancy Mitford (although with more facts and less funny).
