This young author has a wonderful writing style! Stanley and Katrina continue to antagonize each other in book 2 and are in prime form. One memorable character is an alien guinea pig, named Zorg, who gets stuck in the cookie jar and blurts out "celery" when nervous. The pet banter is hilarious and makes for a zany read that youngsters... Stanley and Katrina are at it again! First off I LOVED S&K's first book The Perpetual Paper of the Pack of Pets and in The Observations of the Obstreperous Animals the fun continues. In the newest book we get to read the hilarious observations of Stanley, Katrina and Zorg on things like poetry, squirrels, space aliens, and agility trials.... I find myself laughing at all the things that the pets do and with all the humor injected into the story, I often forget that I was reading a book written by a kid. As for the words?
